#2 in Top 5 Most Improved Electronic Prescribing States, Moves Up in Activity Rankings

NASHVILLE – Surescripts, the nation’s largest electronic prescribing network, will present Governor Phil Bredesen with a Safe-Rx Award today as Tennessee joins Illinois, Kansas, Missouri and Vermont as one of the top five most improved electronic prescribing states for 2008.

NASHVILLE –Tennessee’s Office of e-Health Initiatives comes back to Knoxville this week, in its statewide electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) training campaign, to host three e-prescribing training sessions for area health care providers.

NASHVILLE –Tennessee’s Office of e-Health Initiatives will be in Clarksville and Jackson this week hosting training sessions to help health care providers get ready to electronically prescribe (e-prescribe) to patients.

NASHVILLE – A statewide campaign to get health care providers ready to issue patient prescriptions electronically comes back to Middle Tennessee this week as Tennessee’s Office of e-Health Initiatives hosts two electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) training sessions for health care providers in Gallatin and Murfreesboro.

NASHVILLE – Tennessee’s Office of e-Health Initiatives continues its statewide electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) training campaign next week with a session for Lawrence County health care providers, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, at the American Red Cross, 181 Prosser Road, in Lawrenceburg. 

NASHVILLE – Tennessee’s Office of e-Health Initiatives continues its statewide electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) training campaign next week with a session for Chattanooga area health care providers, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, 801 Pine St., in Chattanooga.

NASHVILLE – Tennessee’s Office of e-Health Initiatives continues its statewide electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) training campaign this week with a session for Carroll County health care providers, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, at McKenzie Regional Hospital, 161 Hospital Drive, in McKenzie.
